Kang Youhe 康有和
Born in 1967 and currently residing in Beijing, Kan Yao He has been painting since childhood. He graduated from the Beijing Union University’s fashion design faculty in 1991. Kan is a member of the China Artist Association and is currently working at the Beijing People’s Art Theatre. His great passion for painting was the driving force for his success through very difficult times early in his career which first saw recognition in 1999 with his renowned painting “Lotus” earning an award at the National Art Fair. In 2002, he established lotus workshop and hosted the first art exhibition. Since 2003, Kan has been invited to various exhibitions internationally.
